6 months are here and gone already! We have been so busy and on the move. Zoe is definitely getting her training to be flexible. We got back from Kentucky only to go down to Waco to help Chad and Catherine move into their new house! No more one 2 bedroom apartments! yea! (though Santa Monica was lovely) Zoe did still end up sleeping in the master closet though - with a fan and lets just say its a very big closet. Its the quietest place in the house! She had a great time playing with her cousins. Grayson (18 mo) just LOVES Zoe and will walk up and give her kisses without us even asking! Im so glad that Zoe has cousins to play with, I know they will have many years of fun together (and likely get in trouble together too). We also took them to Chucky Cheese for the first time while in Waco. Zoe wasn't sure what to think about all the noise and kids running around and ended up passing out in her car seat while we ate pizza. Those boys are crazy! :)
Zoe continues to be oh so precious, especially since she is sleeping from 8:30 - 8:30 everyday (and later if I let her sometimes). She gets that from her momma :) She just started sitting up last week and can sit for a few seconds unsupported until she topples over or just bends all the way forward. The thing that cracks me up though as that she STILL wants to have her hands in the air all the time - just like she used to sleep. She just holds them up by her ears. She can "tripod" but isn't really a fan - that requires putting her arms down. She still likes standing best, but we are working on sitting. We gave her her first rice cereal last week and she seems to like it ok, but not really have a strong opinion about it. Then we gave her peas, which she actually ate pretty well. However, one of the two has give her bad gas - Booooo. It is quite funny coming out of a dainty little behind. We had her 6 month check up and she is 15lbs, 12 oz (50%) and 26.25" long (70%). She is getting more opinionated about being held vs on the floor or some other seat. We are going to have to work on independent play so I can continue to fix dinner because of course that is always when she wants to be held. Her favorite toy is still Sophie the Giraffe and her favorite time of day is right before we put her to bed at night. Whats funny is she saves her biggest smile for "Jesus Loves Me", but only if Daddy is sitting in her chair singing it too. She wont do it for anyone else!
Maddox, Zoe and Grayson - Grayson is too big for the exersaucer now, but REALLY wanted to get in it so once Zoe was out he dove into it head first.
