Feeeesh

Yes, feesh.  That is what Zoe calls fish.  Goldfish, fish in a pond, fish in her great grandad's backyard.  Zoe herself has been a little fish over the past 2 weeks.  We started swim lessons with Dolphin Swim School and you would not believe how much she loves to swim - like truly swim - under the water.  She asks to go "under" over and over and over and has even learned to kick and move her hands to propel herself a little bit.  Its amazing.  Today I put on my goggles and she swam from J to me.  I watched her under the water and she was smiling with her eyes open the whole time looking at me.  I knew she was going to be a water baby - but she is a feesh!

So basically every day for the past 2 weeks we have had swim lessons at 4 then come home and spent the remainder of the day outside in the pool or on the patio.  Girl is getting a tan already even with 30+ sunscreen.  I also went to buy some of the "better" sunscreen for her - California Baby stick = piece of junk.  Her whole face was so white and shiny it was ghostly and it didnt rub in at all.  We also have gone to a little park by our house that has all short stuff for toddlers.  She went down the slide on the little train all by herself!  Zoe also has found a new love of dolls (gulp).  She likes to carry them around and pat them and kiss them.  Today for the first time she actually kissed someone (her doll actually) as opposed to just smooching the air.  It was ADORABLE!  She likes to take the diaper and she shoes (go figure) on and off.  Still obsessed with shoes.  Great grandma babysat the other day and Zoe made her take off her socks and shoes and then put them on Zoe.  And she found my reefs, put her toes in the correct spot and walked a couple feet in my sandals!  Crazy girl.  She make Pappy take of his shoes this week too.   And LaLa, oh how Zoe loves your high heels.  All LaLa wanted to do was get out of those work shoes, but Zoe thought they were too pretty not to wear!

We also checked out the spay park for the first time and Zoe loved it (what would you expect from a feesh) and walked in and out of the biggest sprays.  She didnt even look for me for 10 minutes.  We ended our week with a playtime at Launa's Library.  She checked out her first library books!  Zoe, you are mommy's big girl!  xoxoxo

Neutrogena has the Pure & Free Baby sunblock which is 60+ spf and goes on really smoothly.

She learned to swim really quickly!
