18 months!

I cant believe my sweet baby girl is 18 months old!  It is crazy how fast her little mind is growing.  She said her first sentence today.  We were looking at our photobooks (which she loves to do and name the people) and she said "That's Momma!"

Here some things that are going on with miss Zoe!
- Zoe pics up words really quickly and will try to repeat them if they are short enough.  I made bug finger puppets yesterday and showed her the butterfly and the bee and a couple others and today I asked her about the butterfly and the bee and she went right to them.  Its so neat to see how much she retains.
- She still adores her grandparents and never complains when we leave her with them (usually she complains when they leave :)
- She loves Kindermusik and just loves to dance around and clap with the music
- She is so loving and is very generous with her hugs and kisses.  She will almost always give you one if you ask (and I ask for them a lot!)
- She still goes down for bed and nap so well - just sing Jesus loves me and she is out.  I love how she just melts onto my shoulder when we start singing
- she loves her Dadda and starts asking for him around 5 oclock!
- Zoe is enjoying eating with a spoon and wants to use it for everything even if its finger food
- Zoe is so good at helping put stuff away too - she knows exactly where Daddy's shoes go in his closet (the exact spot on the shelf)
- she dislikes anything being on her hands or feet (sand, dirt, paint) - we have to really work to finger paint!
- She likes to look at books, etc and say "sdat" - "whats that?"
- this morning i woke up to "momma, momma, momma, dadda, momma, momma, dadda"
- Zoe loves anything that "fits" together be it lipstick or the lotion bottle and top - she loves it and will turn it over and over in her hands
- my favorite expression she has is this little imp grin she does when she knows she is being cute - she tucks her head to her chin and does this sweet wrinkle nose shy smile - adorable
- if Justin or I start walking away from her she calls out after us
- if you find toilet paper pieces all over my house, its because Zoe has decided unrolling and tearing it all up is lots of fun.
- her hair is always in her eyes - she is ok with clips, but as soon as she sees it in a mirror - out it goes
- i bought her a potty yesterday! she has started to be curious about the potty and will tell me "poop!"
- for her 18 month birthday today I painted her toes  :)  but Im taking it off tomorrow!
