The 4th and Word fun!

We had a wonderful 4th - well it was really like a week instead of a weekend.  Catherine and the kids came in on Thursday and the boys stayed till the following thursday.  Lets just say Zoe had a jam-packed week!
She loves her cousins SO much!  I love to see them together.

We headed to Kaboom to check out the fireworks and have a picnic.   The kids loved being outside even though it was hot!  The evening was great until the fireworks started going off behind the trees we sat in front of.  So we had to hurriedly grab our gear and move so we could see the show.  Zoe loved the fireworks and kept pointing and talking to them.  We got home at 11 - so she had quite a day.  We spent the rest of the week going out on the boat, swimming, going to the 4th of July parade, going to the park, and just playing at Gigi and Pops.  Poor Zoe is in withdrawl from all the attention this week and poor me gets to deal with it :)  Oh well, it was worth it! Zoe is so funny, she loves the boat. When she figures out we are going out she says boat boat boat and tries to put her life jacket on.  I never knew a kid who willingly wanted to wear one of those!  And Saturday morning after we went out Friday, Zoe got up and asked for the boat! Guess she is in the right family!

And her vocabulary is increasing SO much right now! I wanted to count up the words she can say (40ish), but its so hard because she seems to add new ones every day and can really understand most things that I tell her- crazy!  Here is the list for now! - I wanted to have a record.
